Other traffic. More than 1’200 ft vertically and beyond 6 nm
What does a filled diamond indicate on a TCAS display?
Proximate traffic. +-1’200 ft and within 6 nm
What is the time to CPA for a TA?
20-48 sec
What is the time to CPA for an RA?
15-35 sec
What frequencies does TCAS use?
Interrogates on 1030 Mhz
Replies on 1090 MHz
When are descent RA instructions inhibited during climb and descent?
Inhibited below 1000 ft during descent
