What is the standard weights for passengers on the load sheet?
Give numbers for Male, Female, Children and Infants for all the different classes
First Class: M = 90kg, F = 80kg, C = 45kg, I = 8kg
Business : M = 85kg, F = 75kg, C = 45kg, I = 8kg
Prem/Econ: M = 81kg, F = 71kg, C = 45kg, I = 8kg
What is the age definition of an “Adult”, “Child” and an “Infant”?
Adult = > 12 years
Child = 2-12 years
Infant = 0-2 years
What are the standard weights for Flight Crew and Cabin Crew?
81kg (75+6)
What is the weight used for baggage to estimate load distribution?
16kg for estimate but the actual has to be used on the actual load sheet
For what changes will a new Preliminary Load sheet be sent to the flight deck?
+- 300kg and +-0,5% MACTOW until ETD -10 min
When should a new flight plan be produced due to weight changes?
When there is a change of +- 3000kg for an International Flight or +-5000kg for Regional Flight
Define “Basic Weight” (BW)?
Basic Empty Weight plus standard items such as fixed equipment, system fluids, unusable water and galley structures
Define “Dry Operating Weight” (DOW)?
Basic Weight + Crew, Catering and Potable water
Define “Dry Operating Index” (DOI)?
Basic Index + index adjustments for crew, catering and potable water
Define “Basic Index” (BI)?
The Centre of Gravity moment (expressed in index) at the time of the Basic Weight
Define “Laden Index Zero Fuel Weight” (LIZFW)?
DOI + Index changes for all passengers and cargo
Define “Laden Index Takeoff Weight” (LITOW)?
LIZFW + Fuel Index
Define “Laden Index Landing Weight” (LILAW)?
LITOW - Trip Fuel index
When you get the Final Load Sheet, what do you check?
- Verify the FINAL loadsheet TOW is within OPT takeoff data limits
- Verify the CG on TAKE OFF REF page 1 is no more than +/- 1% from the final (rounded) loadsheet MACTOW
What do you do if the Final Load Sheet TOW is outside the weight band?
