Why may ethnicity affect the amount of people partaking in sport?

A
  • clothes = restrict movement eg. Burka
  • stereotypes = Black Caribbean or African groups are better at sprinting than swimming
  • festivals = such as Ramadan in Islam, could be harmful to there health
  • ethnic background = cricket is very popular among Asian countries so they may not try and take part in other sports
