Why do we have a CV stage in our warmup?
To gradually raise our heartrate and get oxygen pumping around the body
Why do we do dynamic stretching first?
We do this to gradually lower our heart rate after the cardiovascular part of the workout.
How long should the CV part of the warm up last
10-15 minutes
Why do we do a cool down?
To lower our heart rate gradually and losen the muscles for the next workout.
How long should each stretch be held for in the cooldown?
30-35 seconds
