What are someones Individual needs?
When doing a PEP the needs of an athlete must come first. Another persons fitness programme won’t be the same as another persons as they are for YOUR individual needs.
What are the 4 principles in FITT?

What is intensity?
This is how hard someone trains
What is type? (in FITT)
The type of training method used
What is time? (In FITT)
How long each training session should last in order to achieve an improvement.
What does RRRO stand for?
Rest
Recovery
Reversability
Overtraining
What is rest?
The period of time allotted to recovery
Recovery
Repair of damage to the body caused by training or competition
Adaptation
Your body’s response to training and how your body changes to cope with new activity.
Overtraining
Training beyond your body’s ability to recover
Reversability
Gradually losing fitness instead of progressing or remaining at the current level.
What can overtraining cause?
It can cause not only injury but also illness
