- has a huge impact on your health and fitness
- needs to be planned into avaliable time(some prefer training in the morning and some prefer the evening)
Why is the work/rest/sleep balance important?
- exercise helps you to sleep better which helps your body recover. It also allows you to have a deeper, more productive nights sleep.
- try not to exercise too late as it will have the opposite effect and mean you are too energised to sleep because of the release of serotonin and endorphins
Why is recreational drugs important for lifestyle choices?
Recreational drugs are split into two categories: legal and illegal
Legal: nicotine, caffine, ethanol+have a negative effect on body but is accepted by society
Illegal: not accepted and have harmful effect, highly dangerous
Why is smoking a bad life choice?
-highly addictive and people face withdraw symptoms if they go too long without a cigarette
The addictive ingredient is nicotine. Nicotine is a stimulant that raises alerness. As nicotine is an addicitve drug the longer someone smokes for the more addicitive they become

A depressant
It slows your reaction and alters the way you see, hear more and respond to things
