Preferential Looking
A
A method where two different stimuli are presentde side by side and an infant’s looking time is recorded. The more time spent looking at one stimuli identifies a preferred item.

A
A method where a new stimulus is presented to an infant and once the infant stops attending to the stimulus a new stimulus will be introduced. The infant is tested to tell the difference between a new and old stimuli.
