A

Once plugged in, leave in for 5-10 seconds to allow pack to equalize pressures then disconnect.

How does the EBSS provide air to a downed firefighter?

A

The EBSS, once connected, breathes air from the lowest bottle first and then the larger bottle. Once EBSS is connected, it is married to firefighter.
