When shall Class A uniforms be worn?
Ceremonies
Formal presentations
Funerals
Social events at the direction of the Fire Chief.
When should class B uniforms be worn?
Presentations and public education events where a formal uniform is warranted but not to the extent of a Class A.
Class C
Regular duty work uniform.
Routine station activities, in-service training, emergency response activity, and selected special details
Class D uniforms
Designated for use during physical fitness activities
Class A components
-Dress hat with rank appropriate hat badge
-white long sleeve dress shirt with assigned collar insignia only
-Black uniform necktie
-Suit (coat and pant are a matching set)
-Belt (1 3/4” wide, smooth black leather, without embossing)
-buckle (chief officer 2 1/4” X 2” plain, gold, square. Rank and file are same but silver instead)
- Dress shoes, lace-up, Corafram high gloss black.

Blue hat with black band
What color hat and band do Drivers wear?
Blue hat with silver band

Class B uniform components for Rank and File
- Navy short sleeve-dress shirt. Navy department t-shirt may be worn under dress shirt.
- Navy 4 pocket pant
- Belt 1 3/4” wide, smooth black leather, without embossing
- Black leather shoe or boot with polishable lower
- Jacket is optional

How many spare uniforms should personnel bring to work?
At least 1 spare uniform.
How long can fingernails be?
Not to exceed 1/8” from the fingertips or impede the use of medical gloves.
How thick can hair be from the scalp of the head?
Not to exceed 3” from the scalp when combed/styled.
How long can mustaches be?
Not to extend one inch in any direction from the corner of the mouth.
