Max volume of air that can be exhaled after normal expiration
Forced Vital Capacity (FCV)
Amount of air that can be forcefully exhaled from a maximum inhalation
Functional Residual Volume (FVR)
amount of air left in the lungs after normal expiration
Inspiratory Capacity (IC)
Max amount of air that can be inspired after a normal expiration
Maximal Volume Ventilation (MVV)
Maximum volume patient can breathe in and out in one minute
Residual Volume (RV)
Volume of air left in the lungs after forced expiration
Tidal Volume (VsubT)
Amount of air inspired and expired in a normal respiration
Vital Capacity (VC)
Maximum amount of air that can be expired after a maximum inspiration
