Vestibular Branch: Equilibrium
Cochlear Branch: Hearing
Damage: deafness, dizziness, no balance

Sensory and Motor. Sensory Portion: tonsils, salivary gland, back 1/3 of tongue
Motor: Muscles of pharynx
