-water baths

17
Q

B3: Effect of pH on rate of reaction on enzymes - method (8)

A

-place 2cm3 of amylase into test tube
-add 1cm3 of buffer solution too
-place tube in water bath
-add a drop of iodine in each dimple of spotting tile

19
Q

B5: effect of antibiotics on bacteria - method (5)

A

-Wash your hands and surfaces
-work close to bunsen burner - kills pathogens in air
-using forceps = dip disc A into antibiotic A etc
-Dry and place in agar gel - tape lid
-store dish upside down and incubate

20
Q

one of inhibition calculation

A

πr 2, where r is the radius of the zone of inhibition .
