- Hepatic necrosis
- Anorexia, N/v, jaundice, coagulation abnormalities
Antidote for Tylenol Toxicity
N-acetylcysteine
-Activated charcoal (if ingested within 1 hour of ingestion)
Symptoms of Bases (Oven cleaner, Bleach, Drain cleaner) ingestion
- Esophageal or gastric perforation
- Epiglottitis
- Respiratory distress
Antidote for ingestion of bases
- Supportive care
- Emesis prevention
- Small amount of milk or H2o as diluent
- DO NOT GASTRIC LAVAGE OR GIVE ACIDS
