Q

hypoparathyroidism is uncommon, but what are some potential causes? clinicals igns youd see?

A
  • lymphocytic parathyroiditis (immune meidated destruction)
  • destruction from metastatic tumor
  • parathyroid gland atrophy (like if a tumor elsewehre is making calcium so it goes on vacation)

Q

2 consedquences of excess PTH:

A
