Symptoms of myocarditis
Acute history of chest pain, dyspnoea and arrhythmias.
Usually young patient
Blood test changes in myocarditis
Increase in inflammatory markers, cardiac enzymes and BNP
ECG changes in myocarditis
tachycardia, arrhytmias and ST/T wave changes including ST elevated elevation and T wave changes
Management of myocarditis
Treat underlying cause
Supportive treatment
Complictions of myocarditis
HF, arrhytmia, dilated cardiomyopathy is usually a late complication
