Female, Asian, use of certain medications such as those with antimuscarinic properties

Symptoms of AACG
A
Sudden headache, nausea, red eye and visual disturbance, haloes, worse at night as pupil dilates

A
Red eye, cloudy cornea, mid dilated pupil

Initial management of AACG
A
Muscarinic agonists sych as pilocarpine drops, oral acetazolamide and topical beta blocker such as timolol.

Peripheral iridotomy

Complications of AACG
A
Temporary loss of vision, malignant glaucoma, iris sphincter atrophy, permanently dilated pupil, permanent blindness
