A

O: Side of metacarpals
I: Extensor hoods of the thumb, index, ring and little fingers and proximal phalanx of thumb
N: Deep branch of ulnar nerve C8, T1
B: Palmar metacarpal arteries, from the deep palmar arch, which is comprised of the terminal portion of the radial artery and the deep branch of the ulnar artery.
A: Adduction of the thumb, index, ring and little fingers at metacarpophalangeal joints

Function: To serve as a pulley for the carpal flexor muscles and to stabilize the carpal system
