2014: La Croix: Sancerre Rouge

From 35 year old vines planted on 50% limestone, 25% chalky clay and 25% red clay totaling 1.5ha. Hand-harvested in early October, followed by one month maceration period and then 15 day fermentation period. The wine then spends 90% in barrel and 10% in vat aging for 12 months. Filtered. Certified Organic. 13% Alc
