2015: Coudray: Quincy, “Une Pointe d’Authenticite”

Domaine du Coudray consists of Vincent Nivet and Julien Jansen, both farming organically since 1993 and have a total of 5ha of vineyards. The vines average 35 years old and are grown in a combination of sand, clay and gravel soils within 1.5ha called “the Point”. Harvested September 25th, direct pressing without any maceration followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts for three weeks. The wine is kept on the lees for at least five months with no stirring. Aged in stainless steel, light filtration. It is the sole Certified Organic estate in the Quincy Appellation. 13% Alc
