ἀγγέλλω, ἀγγελῶ, ἤγγειλα, ἤγγελκα, ἤγγελμαι, ἠγγλελθην
announce, report {λ is added to the basic stem ἀγγελ- to make the Pres. stem. εσ is added to ἀγγελ- to form the Fut., but the σ drops out, and contraction occurs. The first aorist’s σ also drops out, and the stem-vowel is lengthened (ε → ει) to compensate.}
