οἱ πονηροὶ ἁμαρτωλοὶ οὗτοι ἐξέρχονται εἰς τὸν προφήτην. αὐτοὶ δύνανται σῴζεσθαι;

These evil sinners are going out to the prophet. Can they (themselves) be saved?

ὑμεῖς ἀκούετε τῆς φωνῆς ἀγγέλου, ἡμεῖς δὲ διδασκόμεθα ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ αὐτοῦ.

You (pl.) are hearing an angel’s voice, but we are being taught by God himself.

εἰσέρχονται τὰ τὲκνα εἰς τὸν οἴκον σὺν τοῖς μαθηταῖς.

Your (pl.) brother is not answering the people with love; therefore, he is being judged by the people.

ὁ ὄχλος γίνεται μικρὸς ὅτι κακοὶ ἁμαρτωλοὶ εἰσέρχονται εἰς τὴν ἐκκλησίαν.

The crowd becomes small because evil sinners are entering into the assembly.

ἄρχεσθε πιστεύειν ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν, ἀλλʼ οὐκ ἐξέρχεσθε ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ τῆς ἁμαρτίας.

πορευόμεθα πρὸς τὴν θάλασσαν, ἀλλʼ οὐ θέλομεν διέρχεσθαι ταύτην τὴν γῆν.

σὺν τῇ ἀδελφῇ σου ἔρχῃ πρὸς τὸν προφήτην βαπτίζεσθαι ὑπʼ αὐτοῦ.
