Ilium

Tibial tuberosity via patellar ligamnets

Femoral N.
What is the action of quadriceps femoris?
Extension of stifle
What is the specific action of rectus femoris?
Hip flexion
What is the origin of iliopsoas?
psoas major - lumaber vertebrae
iliacus - cranioventral ilium
What is the insertion of iliopsoas?
Lesser trochanter
What is the nerve of iliopsoas?
Ventral branches of lumbar spinal nerves and femoral n.
What is the action of iliopsoas?
Flex hip - but differs
What is the origin of ipopliteus?
Lateral epicondyle of femur
What is the insertion of ipopliteus?
Proximal 1/3 of caudal surface of tibia
What is the nerve of ipopliteus?
Tibial n.
What is the action of ipopliteus?
Medially rotates leg
