Execution of Robert Kett:
November 7, 1549:
The rebels issue a list of demands against land enclosures, unfair rents, and the behavior of local gentry. They also criticize the corruption in the local church and clergy.

Negotiations and delay: The government, led by Lord Protector Somerset, initially attempts to negotiate with the rebels but fails to reach an agreement.
