Toradol - Indications
A
- Mild to moderate pain
* Short-term management of moderate to severe pain

Toradol - Dosage/Route
A
- IV: 15 - 30 mg slow IVP (over 1 min)
* IM: 30 - 60 mg

Toradol - Side Effects:
A
- Edema, rash
- Nausea, heartburn
- Transient HoTN/HTN

Toradol - Contraindications
A
- Hypersensitivity to the drug
- Pts allergic to ASA or other NSAIDs
- Bleeding disorders
- Renal failure
- HoTN
- Pts with a history of asthma

Toradol - Special Information
A
- If a pt is >65 yrs or renal impaired, IV push should be no more than 15 mg per min
- May increase bleeding in pts taking anticoagulants
- Use caution and reduce doses with elderly pts
- GI irritation or hemorrhage can occur
- Mild sedation may occur in some pts
