A
  • Hypersensitivity to the drug
  • Pts allergic to ASA or other NSAIDs
  • Bleeding disorders
  • Renal failure
  • HoTN
  • Pts with a history of asthma

Toradol - Special Information

A
  • If a pt is >65 yrs or renal impaired, IV push should be no more than 15 mg per min
  • May increase bleeding in pts taking anticoagulants
  • Use caution and reduce doses with elderly pts
  • GI irritation or hemorrhage can occur
  • Mild sedation may occur in some pts
