A

Hasselbach’s triangle, which is bounded by 3 structures:

  • laterally: inferior epigastric vessels
  • inferiorly: inguinal ligament
  • superiorly: lateral border of rectus sheath

  • asymptomatic - conservatively
  • symptomatic - operative management
    • reducible–> routine referral
    • irreducible or female–> urgent referral
    • strangulated –> emergency admission
