the young man does a little in
medicine and theatre
the old man’s done some
doctoring
the old man preaches and works camp meetings and is a
missionary
the younger man is depressed because he is a
duke by birthright
the duke is unable to be in his position because apparently his uncle took the
position
the young man wants the guys on the raft to refer to him by titles such as
“your grace” or “my lord”
the old man isn’t really happy with the self pity of the younger man and he says that the younger one isn’t the only one that’s
had troubles in life
the old man claims that he is the late
Dauphin
huck realized that the two men are
lying and that neither of them are noble
