A common bacterial infection also called a UTI which results in inflammation of the affected area

Bacterial infection
Cystitis - first-line treatment (product, how it works, how to use it)
Paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain management
1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours, max 8 per day
Cystitis - lifestyle (8)
Drink plenty of fluids - 2L per day
Not a lot of clinical evidence for cranberry based products
Avoid/urinate after sex
Avoid rich drinks that may irritate your bladder (fizzy and caffeine)
Hot water bottle to soothe pain
Don’t avoid urinating
Wipe from front to back
Avoid triggers (tight underwear, scented products)

No improvement after 3 days
Severe abdominal pain
Blood in urine
Children, men, pregnant women and elderly
Nausea and vomiting
Discharge
