Who must be picked as your general in your army?
I HeRo or a unit with the Warmaster keyword
If any units in your army have the Warmaster keyword, one of those units must be chosen as the general.
What is a reinforced unit?
A unit with twice the minimum unit size and costs twice as many points
A reinforced unit cannot be created if the minimum unit size is 1.
Can you include the same UNIQUE unit more than once in your army?
No
UNIQUE units cannot be reinforced either.
What are Regiments of Renown?
Pre-built regiments with special abilities that can be included in your army
They have specific faction rules regarding inclusion and cannot serve as your general.
What advantage does a player gain with fewer auxiliary units?
They gain 1 extra command point at the start of each battle round
If both players have the same number of auxiliary units, neither receives an extra command point.
What do faction terrain features cost?
They do not cost any points
You can include one terrain feature from your faction in your army roster.
What types of enhancements can be given to units?
Heroic traits, mount traits, and artefacts of power
Each enhancement table specifies which units can receive that enhancement.
Can UNIQUE units receive enhancements?
No
A unit can never have more than one enhancement of the same type.
What spell lore can you pick for your army?
One spell lore available to your faction
All WIZARDS in your army will know all spells from that lore.
What is included in the army roster creation process?
Pick points limit, faction, battle formation, regiments, auxiliary units, terrain features, enhancements, spell lore, prayer lore
You can pick a points limit of 1000 or 2000 points.
What is a requirement for the general’s regiment?
It can include up to 1 non-HeRo unit in addition to the general
A general’s regiment can have 0-3 non-HeRo units, or 0-4 if the general’s regiment is chosen.
What happens if a player has more auxiliary units than their opponent?
They receive 1 extra command point each battle round
This incentivizes a balance between auxiliary units and regiments.
