What is the duration of a battle?
The battle lasts a fixed number of battle rounds.
How many turns are in each battle round?
Each battle round contains 2 turns.
Who is referred to as the active player?
The player whose turn is taking place is the active player.
How many phases are in each turn?
Each turn contains 7 phases.
What is the order of actions in each phase?
In each phase, the active player uses abilities first, then their opponent does the same.
What are the phases of a turn?
The phases are: Start of Turn, Hero Phase, Movement Phase, Shooting Phase, Charge Phase, Combat Phase, End of Turn.
When can the active player use Combat Phase abilities?
The active player uses Combat Phase abilities that are not FIGHT abilities first, then the opponent does the same.
How do players use FIGHT abilities?
Players alternate picking a unit to use a FIGHT ability, starting with the active player.
What must each unit do if able during the Combat Phase?
Each unit must use a FIGHT ability if it is able to.
What happens at the start of each battle round?
Determine the Active Player, the Underdog, and allow the active player to use Start of Battle Round abilities first.
How is the Active Player determined in the first battle round?

How are turn phases structured?
Each player’s turn is broken down into 7 phases, allowing the active player to use abilities in any order.
What is the sequence for FIGHT abilities?
FIGHT abilities follow a different sequence and cannot be used during Combat Phase abilities that are not FIGHT.
What happens when a player has no eligible units for FIGHT abilities?
The other player continues to pick eligible units to use a FIGHT ability until there are none left.
