CR 210 Flashcards
What is the first step in the damage sequence after resolving damage abilities?
Resolve ward saves for all damage points in the target unit’s damage pool, if applicable (see 17.0).
What is the second step in the damage sequence?
Allocate the damage points in the unit’s damage pool and remove slain models (see 18.3).
What does the Ward keyword indicate?
Units with the Ward keyword have the ‘Ward Save passive ability.’ The number after the Ward keyword indicates the ward value for the ward save.
How does a Ward Save work?
In step 1 of the damage sequence (see 18.0), make a ward roll of D6 for each damage point in this unit’s damage pool. If the roll equals or exceeds this unit’s ward value, remove that damage point from the damage pool.
What happens when allocating damage points to a unit?
The damage points in its damage pool are allocated to it one at a time. Each time the number of damage points allocated equals the Health characteristic of that unit, 1 model is slain and removed from play.
What should you do if the number of damage points allocated is not enough to slay a model?
Keep track of the number of damage points currently allocated to the unit. While a unit has any damage points allocated to it, it is considered damaged.
Who decides which model(s) are slain in a unit?
The commander of a unit must pick which model(s) in the unit are slain.
What must be ensured after removing a slain model?
The unit must be in a single coherent group (see 15.1). If not, continue to remove models until the unit is coherent.
What happens when the last model in a unit is slain?
The unit is destroyed and all remaining damage points inflicted on that unit have no effect.
