CR 202 Flashcards
What are the core rules for setting up for battle?
Set up objectives, set up terrain, determine territories, deploy armies. The player who lost the roll-off to choose territories decides who begins deployment.
What is a battleplan?
A battleplan is a scenario to play that outlines territories, objectives, victory conditions, and any special rules that apply to that battle.
What does each battleplan include?
Each battleplan includes a battlefield map divided into quarters, showing the locations of objectives and players’ territories.
How are objectives and terrain features set up?
Players should first set up objective markers at locations indicated by gold circles (O) on the deployment map, then set up terrain features in a mutually agreeable manner.
How are territories determined?
After terrain setup, players roll off. The winner decides which territory belongs to which player, and their opponent decides who begins deployment.
What defines a unit’s position within a territory?
A unit is within a territory if any part of the base of any model in the unit is within that territory. A unit is wholly within a territory if every part of the base of every model in the unit is within that territory.
What is neutral territory?
The area of the battlefield that is neither player’s territory is neutral territory.
