Activity undertaken to protect specific children who are suffering, or at risk of suffering significant harm
Who are children in need?
Those who require additional support or service to achieve their full potential
What does child safegaurding mean?
Measures taken to minimises the risks of harm to children
What is child abuse and neglect?
Anything a child caregiver do or fail to do that affect negatively the child safety and healthy development into adulthood
3 elements of child abuse?
