While it is know that fires are aggressive, and firefighter must train to fight fires aggressively, what does the word aggressive not mean in terms of the fire service?

Aggressive firefighters and departments are formed with personal and company level training.

What is the potential harm in discrepancy between teaching cadets an academy way and promptly contradicting it with a street way of performing a skill or tactic? Also why may it be misguided to demand a strong disciplined throughout the entire academy?
The fire service in general has less fires than before if we cannot expect cadets to get street experience they way they may have in years past. To not teach them firefighting as they will preform it in the field, is a disservice to the cadet.
Similarly if we expect a ridged disciplined cadets throughout the academy we may prevent cadets from asking questions or getting the most out of their fire training. That backed with the hustle that is demanded from fire cadets may teach aggressive and reckless fire attack. We should take the time to explain what we do and use the academy to form good not bad habits.
