Secretes hormones that regulate blood sugar levels.
Testosterone
Stimulates of male secondary sex characteristics, produced in tests, ovaries, and adrenal cortex.
Estrogen
Regulates menstrual cycle
Adrenaline
Happens in stressful conditions, increasing rates of blood circulation, and breathing. prepares the body for exertion.
Cortisol
Increases sugar/ glucose in the bloodstream. Increases the availability of substances in the body that repair tissue.
Insulin
A hormone that lowers the level of glucose in the blood.
Glucose
A hormone formed in the pancreas which promotes the breakdown of glycogen to glucose in the liver.
