Atropine Mechanism?

A

M2 anticholenergic agonist. Inhibits SA/AV node parasympathetic effects principally through K efflux. Positive chronotropy with no ionotropy.

-Bradycardia 0.5mg every 3-5 minutes. Max 3mg
-Organophosphate 2-5mg as needed
