- Platelet aggregation inhibitor

- Decreases platelet aggregation (clumping) by blocking thromboxane A2.

A
- Cardiac chest pain
- ECG changes or other signs/symptoms suggesting myocardial ischemia

- 162 - 324 mg

Aspirin Contraindications
A
- Known hypersensitivity to salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatories.
- Bleeding ulcer, hemorrhagic states, hemophilia
- Children and adolescents

A
- Use with caution in patients with asthma history, anaphylactic reactions have occurred.
