Esophagus enters the stomach

Accumulates swallowed air

Continues with the right edge of the esophagus
Greater Curvature
Inferior border of the stomach
Pylorus
Narrow region of the stomach that leads to the small intestine
Plyoric Sphincter
Smooth muscle
Guards btw the stomach and the small intestine
Falciform Ligament
Fold of the peritoneum that extends from the liver to the diaphragm and the anterior abdominal wall
Divides the right and left lob of the liver
Round ligament (Ligamentum Teres)
The free edge of the falciform ligament, rod of the connective tissue
Remnant of the umbilical vein
Fundus of the gall bladder
Peaking out from under the right lobe of the liver
responsible for the storage and subsequent release of bile produced by the liver.
Greater Omentum
Attached to the greater curvature of the stomach
Extends over the coils of the intestine (Apron)
Rich blood supply and ample lymphatics
Small intestine
Duodenum, Jejunum and Ileum
