Well today we are very happy to be back again with another Show Time Spanish program.

It is in France but it is next to the German border and that is why there is a lot of German influence in, for example, the architecture, and you also hear a lot of German spoken in the streets.
Está en Francia pero está al lado de la frontera alemana y por eso hay mucha influencia alemana en, por ejemplo, la arquitectura, y también se oye mucho el alemán hablado por las calles.

Mark is so unequivocal and in his mind it’s clear.
Mark es tan tajante y lo tiene claro. (Él es tajante = He has made up his mind; tener claro = to be clear / to be sure)
It is an architectural work, and the special thing, what I like a lot about this park, is that it is full of sculptures and monuments.
Es una obra arquitectónica, y lo especial, lo que me gusta mucho de este parque, es que está lleno de esculturas, y de monumentos.
I would say that the atmosphere is magical, and the truth is that there is a very good vibe: there are people playing (instruments) under some trees…
Yo diría que el ambiente es mágico, y la verdad es que hay muy buena onda: hay gente tocando debajo de unos árboles..
And for those who are interested in the historical part of the city, I have thought about the Gothic Quarter… I really like this neighborhood because the streets are very narrow, and, well, you can truly breathe the authentic Barcelona atmosphere.
Y para aquellos que se interesen por la parte histórica de la ciudad, he pensado en el Barrio Gótico.. me gusta mucho este barrio porque las calles son muy estrechas, y, bueno, realmente se puede respirar el auténtico ambiente barcelonés. (Interesarse = to be interested in. Followed be “en” or “por”; pensar en = think about (to occupy one’s mind); pensar de = think of (your opinion of)
And finally, for those lovers of leisure and partying, I recommend the “El Borne” neighborhood, and there you can savor the rhythm of the Catalan night.
Y, por último, para aquellos amantes del ocio y de la juerga, pues recomiendo el Barrio de “El Borne”, y allí podréis saborear el ritmo de la noche catalana.
