Cuando yo y mi hermano éramos niños a veces nos cuidaba y nos hacía reír tanto. (Cuidar = to take care of (to look after)/ to pay attention). Hacer reír = to make laugh)

Bueno, acabo de decirle a tu madre que me ha salido un imprevisto y que, al final, no podré venir. (me ha salido un imprevisto = something unexpected has come up)
That’s why she got angry! (Perfect tense)
Por eso se ha enfadado! (In Latin America “enojarse” = to get angry. As opposed to “enfadarse” in Spain)

Y ¿si por ejemplo nos quedáramos sin zumo de naranja…? (Quedarse sin = to run out of. “Quedáramos” here is the imperfect subjunctive)
