Known at risk persons will be provided written notice of the pending RPO in the form of the RPO notice pamphlet. The recipients of the RPO notice pamphlet shall sign a receipt of RPO pamphlet, which is to be submitted to records and added to the case file.
Should an RPO respondent surrender, all firearms or just those owned by the respondent?
Law-enforcement shall take the custody firearms and ammunition in the respondents custody and control. If after seizure, a third-party claims ownership, those items may be returned to the third-party following proper procedure.
