Who can post scheduled overtime on PowerDetails?
Scheduled overtime will be posted on PowerDetails by the respective supervisor in need of a sworn number to cover a shift or need.
Can a Deputy create their own off duty detail?
No, all requests were off duty details from public, private, or commercial organizations for assignment of sheriff’s swung members shall be made by submitting an application using the off-duty employment request form supplied by the off-duty detail coordinator.
Which sworn members are not eligible for off duty details?
Sworn members who have been injured or who have been placed on modified duty status

Sworn members who have not completed field training and three additional months after field training unless they have three or more years of credible service with another law-enforcement agency with at least one year of that time signed in a uniform road patrol capacity.
Can a zone car replace a sworn member at a detail?
No. If an arrest is made during a detail, the member working the detail is responsible for necessary forms however, a zone unit may transport to prisoner if necessary.
A swan member shall not leave a detail unattended. However, if a break is necessary, a zone unit can be requested through the shift supervisor.
How late can a sworn member cancel an off-duty or overtime assignment They have signed up for?
They must notify the off duty detail coordinator or respective supervisor no less than five days before the detail or overtime assignment. The day of the detail or overtime does not count as one of the five days.

Can Deputy accept payment directly from a vendor?
No, sworn members may only receive payment from the sheriffs office for off duty details. Sworn members shall not, under any circumstances, accept monies from vendors.
