Who can approve leave?
A
Granting of any leaves shall be in writing and shall be approved by the members immediate supervisor or designated prior to the leave being taken, except in the case of emergency.

Amount of leave you can accrue?
A
Members shall be able to maintain a maximum of 24 months worth of annual leave at their current yearly rate.

When are new employees eligible to use annual leave?
A
Employees will be eligible to use annual leave after six months of employment and for sworn personnel, successful completion of field training.

How much time may an employee take for bereavement leave?
A
A member may be granted up to three days in state and five days out of state bereavement leave for the death of any member of his or her immediately family.
