What should happen before an arrest is made on a warrant from another jurisdiction?

Answer 1

An arrest will not be made on a warrant from another jurisdiction until confirmation is received that the warrant is still active. A teletype requesting a confirmation will be sent to the originating agency. Confirmation will be sent via Tele type. The sworn member must confirm that the subject to be arrested is the same person named in the warrant.
