It originates from the lateral/ intermedaite horn of the thoracolumbar spinal cord then leaves via ventral roots of T1 to L3/L4

A
Opening of k+ channels/ K+ leaves
then active transport of sodium outside of the cell

How do synpases generally function?
A
action potential causes uptake of calcium which causes release of neurotransmitters via exocytosis which can then diffuse to the post-synaptic membrane
