It involutes and is replaced by fat

What are hassals corpuscles?
A
Found in the medulla of each lobule
concentric whirls of acidophillic and flattened reticular cells taht may become swollen or kertainized

What does the Bursa of Fabricius look like?
A
Thick mucousal folds, contains a capillary layer between the medulla and the cortex
The apex contains an epitheliar tuft of simple colummnar cells
Apex also contains lytic enzymes

A
Connective tissue and a network of trabeculae

They are part of MALT/ GALT and covered in a stratified squamous epithelum
