in a tuft of epithelial columnar cells
In what organ does peyers patches have an additional function as a primary lymphoid organ
What are micro folds specialised for and what lymphoid tissue are they found in?
They are specialised for antigen uptake and they are found in peyers patches

T cells and high endothelial venules
What does white pulp tissue include?
Lymphoid tissue that surrounds arterioles
What does red pulp tissue include?
loose vascular framework
What do birds have instead of platelets?
nucleated thrombocytes
these are unable to form plugs to block damaged arteries
