What are the 4 pillars of crew resource management?

In the Threat and Error Management (TEMS) system, what do threats lead to?
15.10 pg. 7 - Threats lead to errors, if not prevented. Errors lead to undesired aircraft states if not trapped. Undesired aircraft states lead to accidents or incidents if not mitigated.
Who is the inflight security coordinator (ISC) when inflight?
15.10 pg. 10 - The captain
What is the primary role of the flight attendants?
15.20 pg. 1 - To assist passengers in the event of an emergency
Is there a “lead flight attendant” on any of our flights, or do any of them “outrank” another? Which flight attendant is the liaison with the flight deck?
15.20 pg. 1 - There is no lead flight attendant and all of them are of equal authority. However, the “A” flight attendant is the liaison with the flight deck, and is the most important flight attendant to include in crew briefings before a flight.
Should crew briefings take place in front of the passengers?
15.20 pg. 1 - Due to the potentially sensitive nature of the information included in the briefing, it should NOT be performed in the prescience of passengers. It should be done in the crew room or on the aircraft prior to boarding.
What does “standard brief” mean when briefing the flight attendants?
15.20 pg. 1 - It’s to remind the flight attendants of the standard briefing items. These items only need to be briefed if they differ from the standard. These items include sterile cockpit procedures, Stat-MD procedures for medical issues, process for handling passenger disputes, security procedures, emergency procedures, international ops, and delay program info.
What are the required briefing items with the flight attendants?

-Verify we have the correct crew members
-“standard brief”
-These items only need to be briefed if different than the standard
-Aircraft and gate info
-Aircraft type and tail number, flight number, applicable MEL’s,
-Time considerations
-ETE, any known delays.
-Weather/turbulence:
-Discuss conditions along the route
-Relay special instructions (perhaps like when to get up and begin service if different than normal)
-Flight deck operations
-Location of oxygen masks and intercom
-Security items
-Identity and locations of FAM’s, FFDO’s, or LEO’s
-Any suspicious persons, broken seals, etc
-Other security info
How many flight attendants are required to be on board the aircraft in order to board/deboard the plane with passengers?
15.20 pg. 3 - A full complement is required to board and deboard (4 for an A320, 5 for an A321). One flight attendant may briefly step out into the apron of the jet bridge to place a gate checked item, confer with ground personnel, etc. however, they must never leave the apron area.

What should be done if a flight attendant feels that a person requires a safety assistant in order to travel safely due to disability?
