Q

What would happen to the SD or system display, if the E/WD display unit failed?

A

The E/WD information would automatically be transferred from the upper ECAM display or E/WD unit, to the lower ECAM display, as the E/WD information has priority. To display the SD information that was lost you could move the ECAM/ND XFR button on the switching panel panel to either captain or first officer. This would display the SD information on the respective persons NDU.

Q

What can be done to get ECAM information if both ECAM screens fail?

A

You can put the E/WD information on either the captain or first officers ND by using the ECAM/ND XFR switch and selecting to the side you wish it to be displayed. You can then get the system information by pressing the desired systems page, which would show up on the opposite side ND.
