Q

Describe how each worker is responsible in their own area

A

Each worker is responsible for having competence in all the areas within their defined scope of practice but also to not attempt something that they are not permitted to do. A dietician wouldn’t give a shot, a dental assistant wouldn’t perform foot surgery, and a genetic counselor is not allowed to diagnose an eye problem. But within their role, each professional must perform their duties well.
