A
Mebendazole (Ovex)
(2+)
- 100mg single dose (adult and child)
- repeat dose 14 days later to prevent re infection
- treat all family at same time

What is Mebendazole contraindicated in
A
pregnancy

Threadwrm advice
A
- Good hygiene measures
(cut nails short, wash hands, shower in morning, regularly wash bed, do not share towels) - Pregnant / Breastfeeding women and children need to follow strict hygiene measure for 6 weeks
